Jake has more than 10 years of experience working with and handling large breed rescue dogs, from Pit Bulls to German Shepherds. He has extensive experience training from everyday obedience to working through problem behaviors such as reactivity.

He uses both science and hands-on experience to work with each dog in determining the best approach for success, all done for the best interest and care for the dog.

Our Story

With more than a decade of experience working with dogs of every age, breed, and temperament, we've learned that successful training isn't about quick fixes—it's about building better relationships.

Every dog is different, but the challenges owners face are often the same. Frustration, inconsistent communication, lack of trust, and uncertainty can quickly make living with a dog feel overwhelming.

At Bolder Dog Training, we focus on practical, real-world training that fits into everyday life. Whether you're raising your first puppy, working through reactivity, or refining advanced obedience, our goal is to give you the knowledge and confidence to succeed long after the lesson ends.

We don't just train dogs—we help people build calmer homes, stronger relationships, and a lifetime of success with their companions.
